A Foodland supermarket at a Bangkok shopping mall has been closed for two days after being visited by a customer who later tested positive for Covid-19.

The Street Ratchada mall in Din Daeng district stated that Techin Ploypetch, better known as DJ Matoom, revealed he had tested positive after visiting its Foodland branch on Tuesday (January 19) at 7pm.

The supermarket has been closed for two days of cleaning and disinfection and will open again on Saturday (January 23).

The air-conditioning system of the entire mall is also being cleaned. All at-risk employees had been tested and confirmed negative for Covid-19, said the mall’s operator.
