I think this is a case of extreme wishful thinking mixed with a bit of conspiracy.  It's not unlike the Trump-supporters who actually believed that the FBI was going to rush up on the steps of the Capitol and arrest Biden and Harris and haul them away before he was sworn in.  

 

If I'm reading something and Rand Paul is mentioned I immediately stop reading.  He'll do anything to get media attention.  He babbles endlesly, kind of the same style as Don Jr, "of course I'm right."

Assembling a mob, proceeding to incite them with a pep rally to be strong, go fight and lets have trial by combat...then directing them to march on the capital (because he would be right there with them...lol) where they proceeded try to stop the certification of an election by ransacking The Capital...was the attempted "Power Grab".

 

The person that has deluded themselves into thinking that Pelosi is out of order and the problem here is the one that should be actually ashamed.

Oh, and just to be clear, the President pro tem of the Senate sits for all impeachments other than a sitting President.   Do you think the impeachment of officials such as Federal Judges are overseen by the Chief Justice of the SC?  They aren't.
