What makes people happy during the Covid-19 crisis

There is one more thing that makes me happy. I just came back from the beach in Central Pattaya. In all the many years I have been here I never saw the sea water so clear. It looks as clear as it is possible. The question is now why is it like this. Or why it is not like this if everything is full of tourists. Dirty farangs?

Being able to now live in "hassle free" retirement in Cambodia having "escaped" Thailand just before the border closed.

I almost forgot to mention we have a large circle of friends and family mostly from Korat it's been great how they are all looking out for each other, we have had loads of stuff sent to us, lots of fruit and one friend in Buriram sent 10kg of brown rice 555 that will last us ages we dont eat much rice,

Big box of fruit arrived yesterday dont know what you call it, but I like it

I did not buy shares in either companies I mentioned . 

Many have been happy to use these companies . 1,2 million extra customers for Netflix i have read . That is making people happy

The most I hate about Covid is that all the pretties have disappeared, meaning that there is a bit of a dry spell for this Stallion.

WHAT MAKES PEOPLE HAPPY?   The locals in Sukhothai are happy that there are NO busloads of Chinese tourists clambering all over the ruins in the Sukhothai National Park trying to take selfies!

Since I moved across from CMU I now have a "View to a Kill", as I said hi to a cutie and told her I was a DR, she said NO, as she seemed only interested in having a Goldfinger.
