Sorayuth to Be Released on Parole

BANGKOK, Feb 2 (TNA) – Former TV news anchor, Sorayuth Suthasanachinda will be released next month on parole wearing an EM bracelet.

 

He has been sentenced for bribing a former employee of Mcot Plc to conceal a 138-million-baht fee his firm owed the media organisation.

 

Director- General of the Corrections Department, Ayuth Sintoppant said that the committee had considered releasing inmates on parole in January and Sorayuth was among 500 inmates, eligible for parole.

He still looks pretty porky for 3+ years inside. Wander how much of a genuine prison stay he actually had.

Must have annoyed someone powerful to actually get jailed rather the usual never ending bail.
