Who pays for Hospitalisation ?

Featured Replies

I will be looking at returning to Thailand in the near future, my Thai partner and son have been in the U.K. since last March, we really need to make the effort to return to Thailand.

In the event if either my Thai partner or son were hospitalised due to a positive covid test whilst in an ASQ Hotel who would be liable for the bill, would it be free because they are Thai, my partner has never worked since our son was born over 5 years ago.

Since each ASQ hotel is partnered with a hospital I assume that any medical treatment for a Thai national in ASQ would be free only if the hospital partner is a government hospital.

Not the case as I understand it, the case I started a thread about (family of 3, wife and kid Thai) the hospital was BNH in Bangkok and the Dr told them all Thais are covered under the Government scheme.
