PHUKET: Police are searching for a suspect who shot and wounded two men in front of Soi Hua Hom, off Sakdidet Rd in Wichit last night (Feb 19).

GPO signs deal for cannabis purchase

BANGKOK (NNT) - The Government Pharmaceutical Organization (GPO) has officially signed a purchase agreement with a community enterprise consisting of cannabis growers in Buriram province, securing local supplies for the agency to begin production of cannabis and hemp-infused medicine.

DKSH to provide Sinovac vaccine logistics in Thailand

MOSCOW (Reuters) - Russia has registered the first case of a strain of bird flu virus named A(H5N8) being passed to humans from birds and has reported the matter to the World Health Organization (WHO), Anna Popova, head of consumer health watchdog Rospotrebnadzor, said on Saturday.

5 members of boat crew rescued, 4 still missing after vessel capsizes in Gulf

Four members of a fishing trawler crew are missing, but five others were rescued after their vessel capsized in the Gulf of Thailand, about 30 kilometres from the shore of Cha-am district of Phetchaburi province on Saturday.
