Unusual requirement: Need to rent chain guard (Triumph BB)

Greetings,

In order to pass the Land Transport inspection, I need to have a chain guard fitted. I don't have the OEM part and it will take 3 weeks to get it here in Phuket. Fabricating a cheap knock-off is also an option but requires more misery than it's worth -- finding a shop that understands and is then be able to execute in a timely fashion. So, if anyone has one kicking around and is willing to lend / rent it for half a day, I'd be very happy to hear from you.

Cheers,

Local bike shop. Take a few pictures from Interweb. th?id=OIP.qsqKxrUZMhhwcA-jr8EpvwAAAA%26p

They will knock something up in a few hours, if you find the right store. It only has to work once.

There may even be a local bike with the chain on the right?

Triumph want to sell you some OEM or branded high priced stuff.

Give this to local shop?

When I go to do the inspection, they just let me put one on the bike right there and then (without screws), just for the picture. Then I take it off and I'm done with it for another year.
