Daniel Kaluuya's Golden Globes victory speech has been interrupted by a technical glitch as the awards ceremony kicked off.

The 32-year-old won Best Supporting Actor in a Motion Picture for Judas and the Black Messiah but when it came to speaking, things broke up.

As the winner was announced by Laura Dern, the camera moved to his home where he was virtually accepting the award and as the actor started to accept it, viewers couldn't hear what he was saying.

Some people on social media have said that his microphone was muted while others assumed it was a fault with the Zoom connection. Whatever happened, the shot soon went back to the studio where things were quickly wrapped up.
