When is this extension valid to?

Hi. Got NON O year extension done 13 aug 2020

 

Then they did amnesty few more times, I was told it will count from last amnesty or something, but nothing specific.

 

There's 12 jul 2021 stamp on it.

 

I should go as normal? 

 

And most importantly do I get extra time due covid amnesties?

The stamp in your passport is what counts, so go before this date.

Your one year extension of stay ends on July 12th and you will to apply for a new one on or before that day.

I assume immigration started your extension from the day you original 90 day entry from your non-o visa for a 60 day extension of it.

There certainly will not be any added time for your extension of stay.

It was extension of previous NON O

But for sure I remember when I extended after that they extended amnesty couple times more.

 

There were talks that ppl who extended visas thiers will count from when extension finishes.

 

But guess that's no more and were just talks, Just wanted to make sure how that works.

You are mixing up 2 different things here.  Make sure you don't go on overstay.

OP, I assume you have kept your financial requirements for extension in order to obtain next extension prior to July 12.

That is valid for one year from date of issue.

It expires Aug 13th 2021

His extension stamp has July 12th on it. That is the day it ends.

I think his stamp was done in August after it was approved at the end of the under consideration period.
