Elections have consequences.   This last election has had the consequence of removing a man who stands with America’s enemies and has replaced with a true patriot.

  • NO accusation.  They've got proof.  They've had it for years.  Sadly, Trump did nothing about it as he was trying to make millions off his condo towers in Moscow.  Where he was going to give one to Pu

Threatening the head of a super power, using an accusation as proof, is nothing more than chicanery.

Wow, proof, you say! I say, so what. The US has meddled in foreign nations' elections for decades. Why should the kettle be immune.

The Us needs to get Russia onside for nuclear abolition & climate mitigation. The blame-game is passé.

How many years exactly did they have proof that Putin meddled with elections that just happened 4 months back?

Putin has stayed in power for many years by meddling with his own elections.

Ahhhh the consequences of the election let me see......trump first day in office russans in the Oval Office no American representative humm........ helinsky hummmm.........bounty’s on GIs hummmm.......the willful failure to deal with covid and continued holding of super spreader events hummmm........525,000 + Americans dead hummmm........well guess old Putin has lost his chief cheerleader in America ah but don’t worry Putin fans he still has many republicans pushing his disinformation. Now Joe Biden on the other hand is calling him out for what he is a soulless killer no more groveling no more cover no more destroying alliances now there will be consequences GOOD!!

Didn't the CIA and Homeland security both say that Russia had no interest or actions in the 2020 election? biden's obvioously off his med's again!

It was either the most secure election in history, or there was Russian collusion.

You can't have it both ways.

Wonder what they're going to find next week?

Election security has nothing to do with a Russian campaign of disinformation. The Russians didn't tamper with the ballot box.

No, they didn't. So if someone is off his meds and imagining things, you might want to look closer to home.

The US has every right to be indignant!! It's not like we ever interfered in the elections of other countries.

Biden inherited a mess, but his first 50 days as president have been a historic success

"A Pew Research Center poll released Tuesday found that 70% of US adults favor Biden's bill — including 41% of Republicans. A separate poll from Associated Press also found that 70% of Americans approve of the president's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic.  Whether congressional Republicans like it or not, history has been made and Americans are seemingly all for it."

He's remarkably popular in the context of basically a 50-50 divided country. If he keeps this up (no guarantees) he may be on the path to becoming some kind of wonderful mix of Lincoln (civil war division tones), FDR (progressive policies), Eisenhower (bipartisan bland good guy "I Like Joe" appeal), and LBJ (voting rights for minorities). Given the shambolic mess he inherited, it's hard to imagine a better start from any president.

Please Mr. President, turn your attention to the border crisis and China.  Russia’s small potatoes, by comparison.

Can you give examples of the US meddling in foreign nation's elections in the last 40 years?

You seem to assume the US has an obligation to "get Russia onside", as if Russia lacks the intelligence to understand it has its own responsibilities regarding nuclear weapons or climate mitigation.  If that is true, and since Russia responds to perceived weakness with aggression instead of cooperation, then a tough stance from the US is in order.

What is silly about promising consequences for election meddling?

Why do you say that?  The most serious security breach in the US, described as an intelligence failure comparable to Pearl Harbor,  was the SolarWinds hack.  It came from Russia and happened under Trump's watch.

My friend Vladimir says he didn’t interfere all our intelligence agencies say differently “ He denied it powerfully “ “ and I don’t know why he would “

Really? What are you chomping on,raw cannabis, living in a fairy tale world. I suppose it is the act of a true patriot to open the Southern Border to anyone who wishes to enter, without a visa, without health checks, without means of support. Why not replicate these rules to all entry to the USA  at all ports of entry, no visa, no money, no job, no health restrictions...save a fortune in Immigration personnel and consular staff, just buy a ticket, in you come. A true patriot would be interested in the financial  and personal welfare of the citizens and not interfere in the infrastructure that is in place, or being developed, to improve living, safety  and cost benefits to resident citizens.

Vladimir must be a superman. He seems to control the entire planet... according to US.

Don't know what news article you are reading. The OP, the one posted, is about interference in the the recent election, 2020 and that is about it.

It was not about accidental novichok poisoning in Wiltshire, or deliberate poisoning in Salisbury. It was not about the polonium 210 poisoning in Lincolnshire. This article is about the US and election interference. It is not the United Kingdom and Vladimir Putin's poison teams running amuck across that sceptered isle, reprehensible and shocking as that is. Lets keep with the plot, OK.

Since you have taken an interest in my diet, I’ll go as far as to tell you I’m not ‘chomping’ a diet of rightwing fear and hate stoking lies.

Your accusations of Biden’s policies at the southern border are exactly that, hate stoking lies fed to and swallowed by people who enjoy such a fear and hate filled diet.

Switch off the rightwing propaganda and try to find a more balanced news source, preferably one rooted in reality:

They've had proof for years.  And proof they meddle in other countries elections as well.  Do some research on the country of Georgia.  Then, please, read the first 30 pages of the Mueller report.  It lays it out very well.  Sad you don't know this.  But figures.  Trump's supporters toe the line with his dismissal of the election hacking.

In other words, he is firing up his base by reigniting the Russia Collusion hoax. His party lied to the world for over 3 years. That was chicanery - on steroids. Why would he be fueling the embers? What issues does he need to divert attention from?

Talk about telling porkies.  Jeez.

Here is an excerpt from the Helsinki press conference report:

"Both Trump and Putin repeatedly denied accusations that the Trump campaign had colluded with Russian intelligence officials to swing the election. “You can trust no one,” Putin said, calling claims of collusion “utter nonsense.”

“President Trump mentioned the issue of the so-called interference of Russia in the American elections, and I had to reiterate things I said several times — including during our personal contacts — that the Russian state has never interfered and is not going to interfere into internal American affairs, including election processes,” Putin said.

Trump and Putin are both well known liars.  Zip credibility.  I guess you also believe what used car salesmen tell you?  Stunning....
