In the works: A two-part docuseries centered on Brittany Murphy and the mysterious circumstances surrounding her death is set to air on HBO Max; the late actress is pictured in 2009

A docuseries centered around the late actress Brittany Murphy is in the works at HBO Max.

Deadline reported on Thursday that a two-part project would make its debut on the streaming service in the future, with Pyramid Productions and Blumhouse Television producing.

The yet-ti-be titled project will attempt to present an in-depth look at the actress' life and the mysterious circumstances surrounding her death at the age of 32 in 2009.

Could be interesting.  However, it will hopefully more objective and less biased than the recent HBO doc about Allen v Farrow.

I doubt it would be like the Allen/Farrow biopic. Not as much "dirt" in Brittany's backstory.

The circumstances of her death though could make a lot of people question what really happened. By rights, she shouldn't have died, had she received proper (medical) treatment in a timely fashion.

That was an utter disgrace

Her husband/boyfriend died a few months after her from the same medical condition ...
