I am having an "event" in Bangkok and am looking for someone who can make/print/paint about twenty T-shirts. Anybody know where I can have this done?

Thanks!

You will need to order min. 200 to get a good price but they will still do 20. I concur with MBK that is a good place to start. Less colours on the design reduces the price. If you don't need a huge amount of printing on the shirt i.e. sponsors logos have you considered embroidered shirts? I just got 6 "golf" shirts done with a simple logo for 300 each in cental Silom, on the same level as BTS, but there are little shops in most malls. Tesco Sukhuvit has one.

If you know anyone from the Hash House Harriers they get T shirts printed all the time.

I wanted to have 30 shirts printed up last year for a military reunion and was told repeatedly that no one in BKK will do orders for less than 100 shirts.

I went tot JJ market and asked around and found a guy who did the art work (screens) and ordered the shirts in 3 different sizes. Shirts were of good quality and not "see throughs". Total finished cost was about $3 a shirt and shirts were ready in 3 days.

Do it yourself.

Go to any main computer paper shop and they sell packets of 5 sheets of A4 iron on T shirt paper.

Something like 140 Baht a pack.

You can buy it for laser print or inkjet.

Make your own design on your computer and print it at photo quality on to the paper (in reverse).

Then iron it on to any light or white T shirt.

The laser are prbably better. I find the inkjet ones go through the wash about 5 times before they start to lose their colour......... or maybe it's my cheap ink......

Farangene, where is that market mate. I need shirts doing, about the same number.

Chatuchak Market aka Jatujak Market or JJ market is served by both the BTS and MRTA. Ask the station agent which one to get off at. Ask around for the t-shirt area and then start making your specific inquiries when you get someine interested. Good idea to have your artwork (design) already specced out.

Thanks. Do they work from a PC i.e. can I give them the .pdf or similar artwork on a USB drive or CD and they use that? Or just a good color print?

I gave them a picture I found on the internet via email and they took it from there. It had 7 different colors in it. The more colors, the more expense to screen the shirts.

You can do it at one of the MBK shops on the ground floor. My fiancee and I made shirts with our two little yorkies on them for our wedding picture book. It was quite expensive since we only had two made. It was 600 Baht a shirt. You may be able to get a better deal for 30 shirts but I don't think it will be too much cheaper since we my fiancee ordered our they said you have to order 100+ to get a real discount.
