A new platform has been launched to help travellers book their alternative state quarantine (ASQ) stays in Thailand, uniting the country’s quarantine hotels on one platform.

Following its soft launch in December 2020 with 15 hotels, ASQ Stay presently has over 50 hotels on its site and has serviced over 200 travellers.

According to founder David Zilber, who comes from a travel start-up background, the idea was born when he was researching hotels to quarantine for himself on his way from France to Thailand.

Cor Blimey, That's like a history 4 travellers per hotel since December !  Seems tourists can now basically just book a hotel and not a room. No wonder they are saying you can walk about , there's no other residents !

All they now need   then is a new  platform for  online reporting TM30-47 instead of the non functioning junk they have now, also a new  boss as they haven't  issued  anything about it.

ASQ hotels tired of dealing direcly with customer bookings and the changing rules, and I don't blame them as each one probably requires an average of ten emails. Push it off to aggregators for a cut. Let them deal with it.

Probably undercut Agoda's cut.

Will have to re-brand post-COVID though.

Currently ASQ Hotels send, monitor and validate substantial amounts of documentation, booking the room is a small part of the process
