BANGKOK, March 31 (TNA) – A government committee has proposed different COVID-19 quarantine periods for arrivals for implementation from April 1 onwards.

Dr Apisamai Srirangson, assistant spokesperson for the Center for COVID-19 Situation Administration, said a committee of CCSA submitted the proposal on several quarantine periods for different groups of arrivals for the prime minister who was also the CCSA director to consider.

If the proposal is approved, it will replace the 14-day mandatory quarantine period.

This proposal is different from what is already posted on the Embassy of the Kingdom of Thailand, Washington DC web page (see picture).

If only they could all get on the same page and speak with a unified message, or is that asking too much?

I’ve seen better organized riots.

At this point, with so many confusing options and details, they might as well just have a wheel outside Customs, with the options, and then have every arrival spin the wheel.

"OK, Johnny, tell our studio audience what Sven from Sweden has just won."

"Well, Marv, it looks like Sven has 10 days in the scenic ASQ-by-the-bay hotel."

Yes... Too many different speakers, speaking from their own wish-list.

You and a guest will fly to beautiful Thailand for 10 sun kissed days, enjoying the views, the sun (from your balcony), and tropical breezes (if you open your window), all while never having to leave the comfort of your hotel room. All this can be yours if the price is right!

No mention of vaccinated arrivals.  ????????

Along with their love of power and authority, which is typical of a country ruled by an unelected Military Academy educated "PM" and his soldiers.

And if on day 6 of the 7 day you test positive then what?  Forced to hospital even if asymptomatic?  For how long?  14 days or test negative.   ?
