BANGKOK, April 20 (TNA) - Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha said he assigned Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Don Pramudwinai to attend a special ASEAN Summit on his behalf later this month.

 

Gen Prayut who is also the defense minister said after the cabinet's meeting that he would not attend the special summit in Jakarta on April 24 but had Mr Don represent Thailand there. 

 

Many countries would send their foreign ministers to the event, the prime minister said.
