Phuket arrivals in Phang Nga staying overnight face quarantine, no rapid tests

PHUKET:-- People from Phuket travelling to Phang Nga must now prove they are fully vaccinated or have tested negative for COVID-19 within 72 hours of arriving ‒ or else face 14 days “Home Quarantine” in Phang Nga.

41 field hospitals setup by MHESI

BANGKOK (NNT) - Adding to field hospitals set up by the Ministries of Public Health and the Tnterior as well as the Royal Thai Army, the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI) has ordered its universities to provide space for COVID-19 patients and apply their innovations to help with care.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand's exports unexpectedly jumped 8.47% in March from a year earlier, the fastest pace in 28 months, boosted by higher shipments of cars and car parts, rubber products and plastic pellets, the commerce ministry said on Friday.

BANGKOK (Reuters) - Thailand needs to add more intensive care unit (ICU) beds at hospitals to tackle an influx of COVID-19 patients, an official said on Friday, as the country struggles with a third wave of infections, the most severe it has faced up to now.

PM urges assistance for Thai nationals returning from Malaysia

Ayutthaya Farmers’ Market gets 2nd COVID-19 active screening
