Visa exempt + covid extensions + 90 day reporting + samui/phangan

I arrived in march 2020, visa exempt, had visa amnesty + covid extensions at Bangkok. I've never been asked about 90 day reporting (and have never done it).

 

I'm most likely going to be in samui or phangan for my next extension.

 

So I'm wondering if they are known to require 90 day reporting in my situation?

It will be the same as Bangkok. Immigration is not enforcing 90 day reporting for short stay extensions since you are doing applications every 60 days or so.
