Many Thais work far more then us foreigners ever did. 6 days a week evenings too.

my wife does her normal shoft in government - 8pm - 4-30pm, but then she often works in the evenings and weekends in meetings. And often on public holidays.

btw, the 3rd is not a holiday for government.

as shown in the Calender at the top of the forum

For those of us who may be a bit slow, could you be more specific about where that can be found?   I can't see "Calendar" on the forum's homepage.

Thanks.

Monday, May 3 (Substitution day for Labour Day) is a holiday only for the private sector.  Government offices, including Immigration, will be open.

That's what I experienced last year.

E.g. post office closed, road traffic office (DLT) open.

Khon Kaen immigration calendar so far was  always correct:

So, private holiday on Monday when government offices will be open. Government holiday on Tuesday when private businesses will be open.

No wonder there has been confusion.

Tues., May 4, is Coronation Day, a statutory holiday. Anything that is normally closed on a holiday will be closed that day.

I know how Google works, thanks, I was asking Crossy about the location of the calendar on Thaivisa that I couldn't see.
