Deputy RTP chief visits 191 call center - beds being found for Covid-19 patients

Deputy commander of the Royal Thai Police Gen Damrongsak Kittipraphat went to inspect operations at the RTP's 191 call center yesterday.

 

The center has been adapted to cater to emergency calls for Covid advice and for people looking for beds. 

 

Damrongsak said that so far 85 people had called for beds and 62 had been assigned while the rest were waiting.

Data is gathered by the operators before being passed along the chain of command.

 

A total of 186 calls were received asking for help and advice. 

 

He said that he was confident that the measures would help the public in the fight against the virus, reported Daily News.
