Is the muscle relaxer Tizanidine available in Thailand?

Featured Replies

Is this available in Thailand and do you happen to know if it's available over the counter?

I have Tonic Tensor Tympani Syndrome and the recommended medication Cyclobenzaprine is not available in Thailand and Orphenadrine Citrate here contains too much paracetamol, so asking again about this medication.

Not sure if it's over the counter but I've been given it from my hospital so it's definitely here.

Great. Thank you very much.

If anyone happens to know if it's available OTC, feel free to respond as well please.

I've had a muscle relaxant over the counter here called biocalm.

It contains tolperisone.

Not sure if it's similar or not, but it's easily available, and affective, so may be worth checking.

i use fenisal which is baclofen,10mg.

buy 200 at a time, no issues.

Yes, available and over the counter. Brand names are:

Sirdalud (import, expensive)

Tonolyte

Tidar

Tizan

the last 3 are locally made brands

Thank you Sheryl, good to know. And thank you to everybody else, if it doesn't help me I may try the others suggested.

Sorry a bit late in replying to this, but are any of these useful for restless leg syndrome to help with sleep? Thanks.

You can try, but muscle telaxants are not usually very effective since RLS is not due to muscle spasm.
