I currently live on the outskirts of Pattaya with my two teenagers and we are thinking of moving to Jomtien. I just thought I'd check here first to see if anyone has anything suitable for us to rent. We would like a 3 bedroom house with a small private pool. It needs to be in a village with a communal pool and it must have a cooker. I have a Thai dog but she lives outside. Looking at around 25,000 baht a month. I work here and am here long term so it would be for at least a year.

Please let me know if you have anything suitable.

yes it's good that you finally understand that leaving in a beach city but never see it was not very logic ????

A pool villa near the beach for 25K a month? Good luck with that, for a family home in that area you should be looking to pay 40K or more. View Talay villas on Second Road next to Rompho market would be ideal for you, but they are much more expensive than the price you mentioned. Of course, if you are willing to move 'down the coast towards Na Jomtien, or inland towards Sukhumvit, the prices will become cheaper, but even where I live on Thepprasit Soi 8 you'd be lucky to get a decent-sized pool villa for 25K. The house opposite me would suit you, if you were willing to live 1,500 m from the beach, but it's on a long-term lease at 35K/month.
