We have lots of different birds in our garden area. Mynah birds, Mockingbirds (black with white trim), pretty much all will eat roaches. And feral cats who don't have a steady food source will eat geckos and those big Street roaches too.

Well it says in the article that it had been trodden on. So maybe the, "Symptoms are now 50/50", means 50% normal size and 50% squashed flat.
