Those registered to take the vaccine in low-risk or green areas have seen their scheduled appointment pushed back due to the low number of vaccines and public health priorities.

Monumental stuff-up.

Trying to run before they can even crawl, nationwide expectations without enough vaccines.

Funny, because I dont know a single farang who has.

Teachers at several schools have been vacinated.

I personally know someone connected with the embassy who was given a J&J vaccine in Bangkok.

Same population uk regularly vaccinate daily between 500.000 and 700.000 which is the necessary rate.

No jabs in hospitals because both the hospital and people don't want to as its risky for both sides. Figures here. 4 daily deaths last figures.

You're lucky to have been given an appointment. My local hospital who hold my docs, say they have no instructions on vaccinating non-Thais. Suggested I try the Mor Prom....

Cluster...., just as I expected.

Probably unlucky because it is high risk factors that move you up the list.

You can " begin" everything and anything, the trick is to continue trough and finish it...

in other words what you saying is that it will take 20 years at least, until either one of the Shins comes back or someone with a brain instead of only hair comes along and coordinates it?

Not sure how that’s funny or any relevant.

Why is it not relevant?

you said there is lots of evidence that many farangs have already received their vaccine. Where is it?

and im telling you that i dont know any foreigners in thailand that have had theirs. So i only see evidence pointing to the contrary of what you claim.

get it????

I went to The Mall Bangkae - today! as previously  mentioned in previous posts "Farangs can register now for appointments at vaccine centers from today" - Rubbish!

Farang cannot register at vaccine centers yet? was turned away 60 year old!

lady told me they only have 1,000 vaccines at present! - many Thai booked this center already! - looks like a long, long wait! for all!

My hospital has closed to all new registrations............ vaccines received have all been allocated for the foreseeable future.

Just three replies above yours, for example. Then another reply just a bit below.

Which brings me back to my original question which you chose to not answer: how is it relevant what you have seen?

Which has little to do with shots - masks, isolation and Thai wai appear to be much more important for the lower cases and deaths here.  But to survive Thailand as well as the world needs to get back to business - and that will require shots.

Sounds like you have an agenda, business is it? My agenda is I'm glad to be in Thailand during Covid-19. I don't care whatever the reasons Thai Wai or not,  mask or not.

Vaccination has just just started instead of bashing I'm very grateful. In 6 months you can bitch all you like you probably will anyway depending on that agenda.

Well, In India the numbers are 20x underreported hence Thailand's death rate multiplied by my best guess of 100 almost equals the great ole USA.  If you have any doubts, look at Peru's admission.  Peru is located on a very near continent and the skin pigment of the population is similar.

It is obvious that Thailand is suffering horrendously and people don't go to all the empty hospitals because they die before getting there.

I love those it's obvious comments ???????? when it's anything but.

There is some of course there is EVERYWHERE. Hundreds of thousands? ????????

Yes, it is up but apparently there are some kinks to iron out.  I registered and was assigned the vaccine date of 1 January 1970.

That's okay. They probably meant to use the Thai calendar and the year still to come, 2570. You only have six years to wait.

I checked with Chiang Mai Ram and they vaccinating people who have appointments on the following dates:

Chiang Mai Ram Hospital confirms vaccination against COVID-19
For #those who register on June 7-9, 2021 as usual.

At this time CM Ram does not know when the next vaccination event will be????? Hmm.

Understandably you're upset but it is not rubbish.  Many Farangs  successfully registering but apparently not you.  60+ Thais are frustrated just like you.  Haven't most rollout across the globe been fraught with inconsistencies?  Then 2 months after the rollout they are begging people to get a shot.

Commendable that you made an attempt!  More than I've done but I'm not in high risk group and can wait.  Best of luck!

Saw a livestream on FB from Central Lad Prao.

Didn't seem busy at all. Also seemed like to a lot of the vacinees were young, mid 20's, early 30's.

That's where SIL got vaccinated 10 days ago- aged 35!

Saw mention of 146,000 doses administered so far.

Still hoping for 250,000.

Vaccine may not be in the right spots...first day hiccups...hopefully no vaccines go to waste.

How is this being monitored?

It concerns me a little but the concern is almost  non-existent.  I do things everyday that are more risky IMO.   Some are scared to get on an Airplane but would drive their car across the country with little concern.

It doesn't make you stupid or a coward and if the population turns into flesh eating zombies in 3 months, I'll admit I was wrong while chewing on your arm.

You are completely out of context with my decision which is in accordance with information from virological specialists who I consider to be outside the big interests of Big Pharma and which are more reliable with regards to my decision which is only personal.
