Confirms my theory that the first batch of AZ vaccine wasn't produced locally. Instead it was a shipment from AZ facilities abroad hence the small number. Also the fact that they are constantly keeping the press far away, speaks for itself.

Which gives further mystery to SB recent sales agreement of approx. 16 million doses of AZ to The Philippines when after 5 months of alleged production in Thailand (so-called 10 lines or batches), SB hasn't delivered any AZ purchased by Thailand in December 2020.

Another setback for countries, who solely relied on AZ vaccines. The EMA suggests to drop AZ vaccine completely due to blood clot issues and increased availability of mRNA vaccines in Europe. Giving the already high quote of vaccinated people in Europe/US and still further ramp up of Biontech/Pfizer/Moderna production capacities, there is a good chance to receive this vaccine in Thailand, too. And the AZ factory in Thailand might be one the plenty mismanagement disasters of this and previous governments but also an expensive adventure for AZ company...
