How could anyone possibly disagree with your contention that the Earth isn't round?  Obviously there are bumps on the planet called land. And it's called an oblate spheroid because it's slightly flattened at the poles thanks to the earth"s rotation. But fFunctionally it is. I can't believe in the year 2121 I have to repeat what the Greeks knew 2500 years ago.

And the reason Antarctica isn't used as an airline route is because those flat-earthers are making a good point?the Earth is not basically spherical? You really want to go with that? Don't aircraft make use of the curvature of the Earth all the time in using routes? But somehow that curvature doesn't apply in Antarctica? Just possibly there might be other reasons why routes over Antarctica aren't used?

If anyone ever wanted to make a case that there aren't 2 sides to every story, except in the most trivial sense  you've just done it.

But when you're faced with a pandemic, elevating trivia to the status of determinants is indistinguishable from lunacy.

If we're slinging anecdotes now, my uncle's sister got the vaxx last week. She's in her low 50s in great health. Fit. The next day she was out gardening and collapsed. She was rushed to the ER, where she collapsed again. When the doctor saw her, they said she was in critical condition and put a pacemaker in her.

I guess the overwhelming majority of epidemiologists and virologists are non-nuanced  thinkers. And we know that because someone who is neither an epidemiologis or a virologist says so.

Surely if they put a pacemaker in she couldn't have been in "great health".............. or are you suggesting that the vaccination was the sole cause of the need for a pacemaker?

She was in excellent health—had never had a heart condition. Why did it suddenly start the day she got the vaccine? Was that just a coincidence? You may be living under the assumption that a covid vaccine could not possibly cause harm. That is simply blatantly untrue. Just look at the skyrocketing VAERS data.

Yours appears to be a blind, simplistic belief system (a "four legs good, two legs bad!" type of approach) that seems to be the status quo for a lot of people. When met with information that contradicts their belief system about experimental covid vaccine's ability to cause disease and death, their gut reaction—much akin to highly religious people who are mortified of their status quo being shaken—is to reject, reject, reject. "No! It's not possible that someone could get sick from a COVID vaccine!" they say.

FWIW, I just got a phone call from my mother back in the US—apparently my aunt—who got vaccinated 2 weeks ago—was just admitted to the hospital with COVID and pneumonia.

Thank god for vaccines.
