Maintenance or renovation of buildings in and around Bangkok can continue as normal and are not banned by the Centre of COVID-19 Situation Administration (CCSA), as widely misunderstood.

 

Quoting CCSA Spokesman Dr. Taweesin Visanuyothin, the COVID-19 Information Centre said today (Tuesday) that the CCSA’s partial lockdown mandate, issued on late Saturday night, only targets 575 registered worker dormitories and does not cover house or building repair or renovation.

 

Under the CCSA’s announcement, all worker dormitories in Bangkok and its suburbs are sealed for 30 days and their residents confined to their housing facilities. All eateries, in and out of malls, department stores, bus and train stations and airports, are only allowed to provide take-home and delivery services.

Chain gangs are allowed to continue.

Either Lock down the Construction workers, or dont Lock them down.

This half A@@@D approach to all mandates has to stop.

These pathetic no punch decisions are  the reason the Country has the problem now.

I see 2 construction sites around the corner from me working as normal.

Bit like "no alcohol" in restaurants, not gonna happen
