Thailandintervac.com No Longer Viable- Yet Another Registration Process Rolled Out and Then Rolled Up

If you had previously been able to register on the ThailandIntervac.com website- this being the Ministry of Public Health website created for foreigners to ultimately schedule vaccine appointments- it is all but now defunct in its original purpose.  The webpage now directs foreigners to (again) "Pre-Register directly with one of two Bangkok hospitals"; to wit:

1. Phyathai 2 Hospital. Pre-registration: 12-16 July from 09.00-12.00 hours only (via phyathai2international.com). Vaccination Period: 19-30 July 2021 (except weekends)
2. Samitivej Sukhumvit Hospital (Directly contact the hospital)

That's it.  That's all the effort the the Health Ministry will be bothered to take to care for expats.

And after many of us had already pre-registered and have been waiting for weeks to see what July appointments would be available, the Ministry has the gaul to say this change "to make it more convenient and secure for foreigners in Thailand to register."

Good Luck with all that!!!

all data was leaked, that including diplomatic corp (they all also had to register there).

because they couldn't fix it had to be shut down.

now they pretend that nothing has happened and they don't responsibility.

P2 website will crash at 09:00:30 on Monday.

Queues at Samitivej will be huge.

I'd say they couldn't make this worse, but then they go and exceed expectations.

All for a taste of Sinovac.

Phayathai 2 say they are full.

Samitivej refuses to take a booking without a 13 digit social security number.

Stop talking about foreigners and vaccines in Thailand. Nobody in Thailand wants to give vaccine to foreigners.

I have a headache now.

Friday a doctor said to me, "Come on Thursday for vaccine" Over there I wait 3 hours then you give me the answer - your German passport does not have 14 numbers, you cannot have a vaccine in Thailand =

People over there say go to town hall and do a Tabien Baan. Over there he asks me why I need a Tabien Baan, I answer that need for a vaccine. The officer say is not a reason and I can't have a Tabien Baan.

I have a headache and I hope the rest of the world never donates more vaccines to Thailand.

After half a year of trying to register for vaccine, all my trust in this country has now been lost

There's a certain irony to the fact that we farangs are desperate to get a vaccine but are, in effect, being spat on by the Thai government and local authorities, while they risk killing thousands of their own people in an insane drive to attract farang tourists to come and spend money in their Covid-ridden country, and get spat on if they have any health problems, and ripped-off if they don't.

Don't bother if its Sinovac.

Astra Zeneca not much better since you probably won't get the second jab.
