Bangkok's governor General Aswin Kwanmuang joined other officials in inspecting what he called an innovation at a field hospital in the western area of the Thai capital.

Daily News quoted the general as accepting that there were large numbers of infections in the metropolitan area and that the BMA were working to increase the number of available beds for patients.

During a visit to Ratchaphiphat Hospital in Bang Khae he said he was glad of help from SCG, a vast cement firm in Thailand, who had helped with donations to set up a Modular ICU at the field hospital there.

This unit will be based on ICU facilities in operation at major hospitals adding to the efficiency of the field hospital in the fight against Covid-19 infection.

What happened to the "perfect place" for a field hospital at Muang Thong Thani.

They have 120,000 M2 (without using the Impact Arena) of clean space there with

electricity, toilets & even 5 or 6 kitchens available (The tenants have no use for them)

Time to commander this place quickly
