Popular Post webfact
Picture: Daily News PM's office spokesman Anucha Buraphachaisri told Daily News yesterday that Thai PM Prayuth Chan-ocha had chaired a Digital Economy and Society meeting. In the meeting the PM had pressed the National Telecom Public Company Ltd (NT) to work with local government and the private sector to make Thailand a wifi hub. The PM - called Big Too by the media - wants to see more free wi-fi in places like educational establishments and offices for the benefit of his people. He called on everybody to work together to increase capabilities. He also put his weight behind a 7 year goal, to be completed in 2027, to build human resources in the AI or artificial intelligence sector. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-07-15 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 1 1 1

This is actually a good idea. Knowledge intensive but low initial capital fields like software engineering, data science and machine learning are some of the fields that the government ought to be heavily promoting. Waaaaay more realistic than booting up a pie in the sky space program.

Phoenix Rising
"Thai PM gives the nod to country being free wi-fi and artificial intelligence hub" Whenever I see yet another hub declaration this is more in line with what I'm thinking: Thai PM gives the nod to country being free wi-fi and artificial of intelligence hub PS. I will hasten to add that this country has lots of smart people but sadly very few of them are in positions of power.
