AstraZeneca will only be able to deliver 5-6 million doses per month but the plan to inoculate at least 10 million people per month will continue with the help of other vaccines, the government said on Tuesday. Just fire-fighting the outbreak. Pfizer not due to arrive until the last quarter, even then that's only 10M people, AZ being used up to re-inoculate medical staff who need the extra protection that Sinovac does not provide. Can't see the majority of the population being vaccinated by the end of this year.

Confirms my point that they could of easily got away with hiding 2,000 to 3,000 cases per day last year. Or not even hiding them just not bothering to find them in the first place. Marvin I take it that you are not a fan of history. This was predicted when covid first came out. It was also predicted what would happen from the time it came out until now. THIS H1Nvirus is following the same game as the Spanish flu did from Feb. 1918 until April 1920. It is thought also to have started in China then mutated in the Boston area. The first wave was bad but not that bad people were able to survive and it seemed to be effectively managed with vaccines until the virus mutated. Unfortunately people became complacent and did not realizes that it was still a threat and let their guards down. The the second third and fourth wave hits with a different mutation that the original treatment could not prevent or cure. 17 - 100 million people died and remember back then the only international transit was steam ship so the world was not as close as it is today This is not gong to be a short term or easy solution where we can blame others. Vaccination is going to be important but expect to get 4-5 jabs until this thing dies. It devastated countries then and covid is going to do the same now.

But I realize that most others on here see it differently than I do and have a stricter definition of what a lockdown is. You tend to stan support Singapore quite a lot. And so do I. But I generally hesitate to say with certainty that what worked there will necessarily work in other cities/countries. The Singapore situation is too unique. Yeah, I guess the place suits me. About 5.31% of the population is fully vaccinated. 11,292,579 (+225,061) people have received the first dose, while 3,512,541 (+32,815) have been fully inoculated. #วัคซีนโควิด19 #COVID19 #ล็อกดาวน์ #KE https://twitter.com/KhaosodEnglish/status/1417737193724932096 Another step down on the vaccination numbers unfortunately. And I haven’t seen anything from MOPH to say where the problem is. The assumption is not enough vaccine, but it would be nice to see some kind of projection for vaccinations based on known vaccine delivery schedules. Rather than just watching it slowly step down week by week. this action here is meant to be the savior of the nation and it’s slowly fizzling out.
