I  havent seen my  93  year  old  Mother for 2+  years due to covid and in which time whilst I couldnt come she fell and broke  her  hip and she  lives  alone in a rural loaction with few  nieghbours, even the hospital let her  use an  i pad and she could  call me daily from her hospital  bed, live with it, its  not neceesary travel is  it, she aint going to die and neither are you , the internet with skype zoom etc is a wonderful  thing . If  your relationship cant handle 10  months  apart Id  be looking at it a  bit  harder.
