health insurance coverage duration when re-enter with work permit/B Visa

Hi,

 

I want to go back to my home country and fly back to Thailand around end of September.

 

My workpermit and extension of stay/re entry is valid until 26 Dec 2021.

How long do I need the coverage of the insurance? Until the mentioned date or for 1 year beginning from the arrival date (if I arrive with one way ticket)?

And: must it be a Thai insurance or can it be any insurance when the 100,000$ covid treatment is mentioned?

 

I tried to call the consulate in my home country dozen times already but the line is always busy..

The Covid insurance will need to provide coverage from the date of your arrival back in Thailand until 26 Dec 2021. The policy can be from any country, but must explicitly state that it includes coverage of at least US$100,000 for treatment of Covid-19 related illness.
