Walk-In Vacc 75+ at Bang Sue Grand Station

Featured Replies

Just came back from Bang Sue having being vaccinated.

Appointment was for 4pm, got there at 2:30pm. No problem parking.

Went in gate 3 Dtac (as my sms was through them)

They checked my passport and phone sms, Went to window 3 (actually window 5 was empty so she said to go there) Checked details gave me a form to complete (very basic, easy to do) they checked my BP and wrote it on the form. Registered inside with the paperwork. Went to another station and got jabbed. Went to waiting area for 30 mins and went home.

Out and done by 3:58. Next jab in October.

No waiting in long ques. Well organized.

Many helpers spoke English but not really needed.

Worth the trip. Oh! AZ vacine.

Just a shame you had to travel to Bangkok to get it, and repeat the trip again for your second vaccine. Bloody brilliant would have been if the vaccine was available in a facility where you live.

PS: I am 70 years young and live in Bangkok. Sorry forgot to say.

Ref being just short of 75th birthday. I did +75 at Bang Sue, my birthday Oct I was logged as 74 at data station no problem arose from that. The criteria seems, at the moment, born 1946.

Just drive into station and take left at the opening at the end of the building block, cops will direct you there.

Great to hear. I am anxious to return to support the poor Isan families and their sick buffaloes.

The photos I've seen looks like people smashed together with no social distancing. Remember it take 2 weeks to become effective.

How are people finding out about these events?  I keep checking sites and everything is generally a broken or old resource.  The US embassy is even more useless.

Thank you,

Hans
