"But he was not yet ready to be a prime minister despite these "qualities". If the present unelected PM is fit to be a PM, then anybody is.

Who tells more lies, is a bigger hypocrite, gives out fake news etc, more than this unelected PM?

One fact alone that such a news are circulating suggests change is coming irrespective of what Prayut thinks or wants

let's hope so.

*Breaking*

This just in from the reporters in the field, the Government has announced all news is fake news but will be allowed to stand as it accomplishes their goals of mass misinformation in order to confuse the public as much as they themselves are confused already. Anutin and Prayut have been seen confused as their daily audio is starting to sound like the Abbot&Costello "Who's on first" montage.

Does it really matter?

As they all come from the same club - be they democratically elected, place by coup, or any other corrupted means.

The theatre truly does remain the same....yet, the bit players change their roles ever so slightly.

Tradition.

And still - the larger picture is missed.

OOh but he was not part of a coup was he. Remember he was democratically elected (I know not by the HiSo hand clapping yellow shirts). Very silly to compare!

Hahaha,

He was DEFINITELY part of a coup alright!

I don't know why any of us even discuss Thai politics or its leaders.

We all know it's a stinking mess, full of cronyism and all are hell bent on self enrichment hidden under the thinnest of veils that they actually care about democracy or the people of Thailand. They make no real effort to disguise it, anybody criticizing too much is threatened or pressed into silence or disappears.

They don't care.

A former HM Consul in Bangkok once said openly to me, ' It is a society riddled with corruption and starts in the prime ministers office right down to the sellers in Patpong market.'

They actually seem to like it that way and the ability to circumvent justice as long as you have the money or ability to borrow it.
