Can someone explain exactly what "recoveries" mean in these daily released figures?

It means a miracle .. With 7% vaccinated and constant mention of TAT bringing billions of tourists in then natural vaccination has occurred and it’s safe for Rich Indians to arrive to the new On Nut Sandbox outside Tesco’s

Pray tell your version and vision of what you see, and please expound on your baiting post.

Just look into the European numbers from last March, Italy for example - infections vs deaths.

The vaccination ratio is similar here in Thailand - close to zero.

Soon, as it have been approved for sale, there will be a nasal spry available for sale and use in Thailand  VIRALEZE™ Antiviral Nasal Spray

mechanism of action  is applied to the nasal cavity where respiratory viruses that cause colds, flu and more severe respiratory illness, first attach and start to multiply.

VIRALEZE™ provides a moisturizing and protective barrier in the nose and contains SPL7013, which physically traps and inactivates viruses. SPL7013 has been shown in laboratory studies to inactivate viruses

SPL7013 acts by trapping viruses, and blocking the interaction between virus attachment proteins, or “spikes”, and the human cells viruses are seeking to infect.

A snort of smack be just as good.

Do you realise that what they're testing for remains detectable long after it ceases to be an active infection?

This does happen to some people just like you can test negative after 3 weeks and some people test  positive up to 3 or 4 months. Your not trying to say everyone test positive for months are you?

No, quite the opposite, there were a few cases in Italy last October when some youngsters caught COVID and they wouldn't let them out of isolation until they tested negative - it dragged on for quite some time - they were essentially imprisoned long after recovery until the government relented and freed them.

Mr James said they have been told that they are probably not contagious but Italian rules mean that they must each return two negative tests before being allowed to leave.

They had already recovered of course - it was very obvious what's happening - the test can't tell the difference between viable 'live' virus and non viable 'dead' virus - there was a bit of an uproar about this when it happened and it was widely reported.

It didn't matter that they were almost certainly not contagious - the paperwork was all that mattered.

Indonesia has overtaken India as the new epicenter in Asia. Hopefully, we don't get another more deadly variant from Indonesia.

In India apparently half a million people died, they say based on the third national serosurvey that only 800 MILLION Indians got COVID.

Maybe the recorded deaths are not accurate?

Take a look at the charts, Indonesia did a typical delta pump and dump, dropping like a brick now. Thailand overtook Indonesia some time ago in cases per capital

On the bright note, Thailand is still running behind Florida -- which has less than 1/3 the population of Thailand.

True but I was referring to Eric who was talking about South East Asia and Indonesia in particular.

Florida right now is the WORST state in the U.S. in terms of COVID issues because of a governor there who's gone out of his way to obstruct everything aimed at restraining the pandemic.

A comparison between Thailand and Florida is nothing to be proud of...with Florida currently dubbed "the new epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in the United States":

"The efforts to defy DeSantis on his approach to the COVID-19 pandemic come as Florida scrambles to contain a resurgence in the virus that has transformed the Sunshine State into the new epicenter of the coronavirus outbreak in the United States.

As of Monday, Florida is averaging more than 20,000 new infections each day, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Covid Data Tracker. The Florida Hospital Association announced on Tuesday that some 14,787 people are hospitalized and nearly 90 percent of the state’s intensive care unit beds are filled. Hospitalizations are now up 145 percent from Florida’s previous peak in July 2020, according to the group."

What about the Russians.?

It first came from the Martians, during that invasion one of our viruses jumped and inside them (before they died) -- it mutated and lay dormant until recently when the grave was dug up by Ufologists...

Prominent Thai doctor says lockdown measures aren’t working, tighter ones won’t work either, ease them to save the economy and consider an export ban on Covid19 vaccines and greatly boost vaccination program

Bangkok –

More Covid-19 infections and fatalities from the Delta mutant will be increased in Thailand if there is no proper vaccine allocation in the next 100 days, a Pulmonary disease specialist of Vichaiyut Hospital stated online today, August 12th.
