A red-shirt politician loyal to self-exiled former premier Thaksin Shinawatra has suddenly emerged as co-leader of a campaign to oust embattled Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha, in an apparent collaboration between anti-establishment protesters and Thaksin supporters.

Nattawut Saikuar, a former deputy commerce minister from the opposition Pheu Thai Party, joined a “car mob” rally in Bangkok on August 1 under his Ousting Prayut Network.

In a new form of protest, hundreds of motorists cruised around the city in cars and on motorcycles, honking their horns to express dissatisfaction with Prayut and his government. They demanded that the prime minister step down to take responsibility for what they call his failure to handle the COVID-19 crisis.

ostensibly he did not attend Saturday rally, which was organised by students associated with monarchy reform.

His group joined Sunday car mob, which consisted of some 6 different groups (including group of former monarchists from the yellow shirt PDRC), starting from different locations. Those car mobs were going already for weeks, he just joined them once.

Although he spoke several months ago at foreign correspondent club about lese majeste law reform, he well might be a royalist himself (as many politicians in his circle)

It's worse than that...

   It's my daughter's.

No shame in my old age.

Growing old disgracefully.

"That's the way ya do it... money for nothin'."

An adult lifetime spent in Thailand doesn't leave you too many other options when all is said and done.
