Rarely happens with the State pension - but illegal if it happens.......more likely to occur with occupational pensions - I can't see a Thai widow rushing to proactively advise a pension provider, especially if she has access to those monies.

    All mandates are terminated upon death.   The attorney would not be responsible for hospital bills.   A power of attorney is no longer valid after death. The only person permitted
