Health officials in Prachuap Khiri Khan have reported a sudden surge in COVID-19 related deaths over the past week.

 

As of August 25, the province had reported a total of 49 COVID-19 deaths since April 1 or during the so-called ‘third wave’ of infections.

 

However, 32 of those deaths occurred in August alone, with 17 of the deaths being reported in the last seven days.

Blame it on Delta.  Not only very contagious, but still deadly, after all it is from India, and

look at how many people died in that country.
