Supha, 58 who everyone calls Pa Yai - Aunty Big - who lives in the Hua Hin area wants to see a transfer for Bunmee the elephant who has trashed her place yet again.

Bunmee returned for the third time to her house on the road to Moo Baan Pa La-U where she cooks up "gluay thort" or fried bananas.

The tusker helped himself to, gluay nam wah bananas, sugar and oil.

He even had the temerity to finish off the remains of rice in a rice cooker - Aunty Big showed the press what was left, reported Sanook.

She wants the park authorities to transfer Bunmee elsewhere because she's had more than enough especially as the elephant breaks her walls down to get at the food.

The state should compensate her. In the Netherlands when wild animals even geese (we dont have much really wild animals now some wolves but that is it). do damage people farmers included get compensation.

But for this elephant relocation is neeed or maybe some better protection like concrete pillars with rebar so it cant get close.

But i feel for this poor lady.

That elephant will be transferred to an inactive post.

That's money no chance, cheap blocks and dodgy mortar.

The jungle was there before her house was. I would suggest relocate and compensate her ????

Someone seen the elephant in the room ?
