Do you find submitting the application for a Thailand Elite membership really such an onerous process? My own view is starting the application process, that might take four months, as early as possible is a time saver, not waster. Sure, if your girl cannot leave the Philippines, you have spent a couple of hours on an application, and may need to abort, but that is scarcely a huge investment of time.

For the same reason as British do.

  • You can apply for a Thailand Elite membership without committing any money. Once the Thailand Elite is approved, you then have 90 days to pay, with no penalty if you decide to back out. Best would be

Yes, that's part of what I was interested in. I have someone I would get out of the P.I. and was wondering how you and your friends were able to do it. I was hoping something magical like an Elite visa would help. I guess not.
