Very big snake
hopefully it will not come back into our yard area, this is the first time in 4 years since we built the house etc it has done it. We were aware of the sighting of the big king cobra at our other block a short distance away but not here. I have already ordered a smaller galvanized mesh to put on the outside of our current fence so it will not be able to come through the current fence again, unfortunately the factthe thais that have bought the blocks as investments do not want keep their vacant blocks cleared doesnt help, spending money on them out of the question although a few other blocks that have been bought are cleared every so often but the 2 in question havent been touched in 4 years, the one behind us was cleared when we first built the house but not since. The area it was in is a smaller area where we have a few trees and vegetables growing so the dogs are there when they are out of their kennel area, they will be defencive if they see it and I do not want them to be bitten by it, this means my only choice will be to defend them so I am hoping this was a one off incident due to the heavy rain we have recently had that would hve flooded the area it came from -

Walking Pad ................ anyone have one ? Opinions please.
As the name of the mask suggests - it only keeps 95% of the crap out if even that. Coupled with the various health warnings about wearing a mask for extended times ( I exercise for about 75 minutes each day), and the discomfort, I would rather stay in a room with my MI air purifier and walk watching my fav TV show. 🙂 -

Almost Refused Entry at Chiang Mai Airport -Be Warned! - 2nd Visa Exemption
I think you missed the point of most discussions about Thai Immigration. The Why and ast as to how Immigration conducts entry at airports always draws a lot of interest. This question has never been answered: How many visa exempts per year? I have never heard a clear answer. Also, what are the reasons for extra scrutiny at entry control points? In my case I have been entering Thailand quickly and without delay for 7+ years until now. I always present my passport and all required document to the IO at the entry counter. No delay until now in year 8. OF course asking the question "why?" in Thaialnd rarely yields a complete and clear answer. This is the point. -

Crime Southern Raids Net 26 Million in Counterfeit Luxury Goods
Bought a Rolex in Laos 15 years ago. 600 Baht. The guy said it was original. Took it to London in 2015. Gave it to my Grandson. Still works well I'm informed. Still use my top-of-the-range Nokia. Bought at the same time. Can't beat quality, and price, of these gems.
