I bought a cheap onward ticket in order to entry Thailand on a visa exemption scheme, but the flight has been cancelled.

Does the airline check the onward flight status at check-in time?

Will I have to buy a new ticket? Any alternatives?

Greetings.

I am not sure they will check to see if it is still valid.

I have you checked on changing your cancelled flight to a earlier one.

Yes, I have checked, no flights available, it seems the route has been cancelled.

Do you have printout showing confirmed payment?

Airline would not check booking.

Check in early and in absolute worse case scenario be ready to book online another flight.

Obviously you would need wifi access and credit card etc to pay.
