Popular Post webfact
Picture: INN Lawyer Ratchaphol Sirisakhon went to the trading standards police on behalf of 400 people who claimed they did not get money from a Ratchada based insurance company for Covid-19 cover. He claimed that many other companies were reneging on policies and it was time for the state to investigate customer claims. Victims claimed they were promised payouts in 3-4 days but 15 had passed with no funds forthcoming. Further inquiries were met with vague assurances that the matter was being dealt with and documents were being examined, reported INN. This AFTER the company said they would pay out for sure. Representatives of the company attended the meeting to explain their actions claiming there were cash flow difficulties. Customers who were as yet unpaid said they would press for formal charges against the firm if they were not paid under their legitimate claims. -- © Copyright ASEAN NOW 2021-10-13 - Whatever you're going through, the Samaritans are here for you - Follow ASEAN NOW on LINE for breaking COVID-19 updates 2

Popular Post Wiggy
This is where the defamation law stinks. We should be entitled to know the name of the company/companies involved so that we can avoid them. Popular Post ukrules
It's really quite simple, if they don't pay out on their policies they're either insolvent or defaulting, either way they should lose their insurance licenses and be dissolved as a company or forced into bankruptcy administration and sold off to a new and different owner who will honor the contacts. Why would a new owner do this? Perhaps because they take ownership of the company at a discount. It's time to pay up or go bust.

Popular Post Chad3000
Cash flow? You're joking. Insco mint gold in this country. More likely they're just telling everyone to take a pi## knowing poor folks can't pony up for legal defense. This is criminality on top of criminality. My in-laws are in exactly this position right now. Edited October 13, 2021 by Chad3000 3

soalbundy
I and my missus been insured by a Thai health insurance company for 15 years, it's always a long wait to get paid, usually several months go by but they always pay up. On one memorable occasion the TB injections from farang land for my missus (the TB wasn't responding to normal treatment) were so expensive ( injection every day for two weeks) that the hospital arranged for direct payment from the insurance so that we could avoid having to pay up front, worked a treat. That's exactly what I'm worried about! Forced to sign a 100,000US$ health insurance policy (incl. Covid) with a Thai insurer, but once you need it, you find out it's not worth the paper it's written on, and you have to pay by yourself anyway. Troy Tempest
I took out Health Insurance 5 months ago via a broker with a company whom I cannot name for obvious reasons, but if you want to have a guess at the broker name and the insurer..... "Looney" and "Toons" might give you the respective answers. I had to go to AER about a month ago suffering from a suspected heart attack and spent a night in ICU at Bangkok Hospital on Koh Samui. Luckily I got the all clear, but still waiting for a "Claim Decision"????? Cost was 68,000 Thb. When I arrived at AER maybe I should have said "What's up Doc"??? I doubt I will ever get paid! Yes, you have to read the small print the buggers try and sneak in. But, the post I was correcting was the claim the insurance has to be via a Thai company which is false.
