800k seasoning

Featured Replies

Whats the current rule for 800k seasoning  for CW? I have just got my extension of stay, don't know if I will be around for another next year but want to cover all bases.

Can I just spend the money now and then bring in another 800k 3 months before my extension next year?

Cheers

The immigration order for extensions of stay state you need to keep the 800k baht in the bank for 3 months after the day you apply for your extension and then 400k baht until you top up your account to 800k baht 2 months before you apply for your next extension.

Those requirements started in March of 2019.

Or the combo method, same timeframes?

It is the same for the combination option.

The amount needed after 3 months may vary from office to office. It should only 50% of the amount used for to apply for the extension.

I remember the current rule by association, otherwise I'd forget.

I call it the 2-3-4 rule, 800k 2 months before and 3 months after, never less than 400k.
