The Thonburi court granted bail to four suspects in a case in Thonburi referred to as "Bas Miit Khu" - Double Knife Bas.

The men - named as Bai, 22, Nit, 37, Ball, 23, and Yor, 20 - had gone to the home of Natthawut or "Bas" in Bang Khae and demanded that he come out to face them, reported Thai Rath.

A brick was thrown in the incident on October 12th.

Bas dashed out with two knives and an altercation occurred.

The men have been charged with assault, trespass and threatening behavior.

The assailants surrendered to Petchkasem police who had wanted to keep them held for twelve days but the court decided to release them after relatives pledged 150,000 bail each.

The will wear electronic monitoring devices in the meantime.

And yet a Swiss expat has completely disappeared into the Thai legal morass for protecting himself against a home invader with a loaded firearm that was discharged.

Thai on Thai - The victim defends himself - 2 attackers go to the morgue and 4 go to jail.
Thai on farang?  The victim defends himself - 1 armed attacker goes to the morgue and the victim goes to jail.
