Five women working at a karaoke bar in Sattahip, Chon Buri, have been fined after videos showed them dancing, performing flips and using a hula hoop on Sukhumvit Road. The footage, originally shared on TikTok by the bar owner, prompted complaints from local residents who said the activity put both the women and passing motorists at risk. The owner, using the account @kkjot_3354, said the bar had closed early and staff had time to relax and enjoy themselves. While some online viewers found the clips amusing, criticism quickly mounted in the comments. The TikTok account and videos were later deleted, but the footage was reposted by Thai news outlets and Facebook pages. They said they had not expected the video to attract attention, nor that police would trace them and pursue legal action. The women apologised publicly and promised not to do it again.
