I really don't know where to put this - but it's short.

Wife and I disagree about what it will take for us to fly to States and return.

I believe I had read here that if a person is coming from Thailand to low risk countries they do not need to be in a particular county for 20 days prior to flight.

For low risk countries (US) wife says we must stay 20 days  I agree but swear I read the caveat above.

One more: when applying for CoE is it a central processing email address or app upload or embassy, consulate. Apply New York anyone???

Thanks

You don't have to be there for 21 days.

"For returning Thais and foreign residents, it is not necessary to be in an approved country for 21 days or more, as long as they are travelling from Thailand to the approved country/s and return within the last 21 days."

2nd bullet, point 1: https://www.tatnews.org/2021/10/quarantine-free-thailand-reopening-for-vaccinated-tourists-from-1-november-2021/

Forget COE, it will be ThailandPass when it's live. Central website that routes the application to the relevant Embassy/Consulate. https://tp.consular.go.th/

Thank you kindly for that.
