Does anyone know with reasonable certainty and personal experience whether the DEDUCTIBLE amount on an insurance policy purchased to enter Thailand is a factor in whether one is admitted?

Policies that meet the government requirements (both the old requirements and the new) come with different levels of deductible, and the cost of these policies varies by THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS depending on various factors, including length of policy, age, AND THE DEDUCTIBLE.

If one saved a lot of money buying a USD 100,000 or USD 50,000 policy covering COVID-19, would it make any difference whether the DEDUCTIBLE was $100 or $5,000? Would one have to show a bank statement with $5000 in the bank, for example, to get in with the higher deductible?

I was asking myself the same thing.  Cranking up the deductible can save quite a bit.
