Accessing True and AIS offices in North of Phuket

Featured Replies

Hello all Phuket residents.

I need to port my True number to a new AIS SIM because True is blocking the OTP sms messages sent from my banks.

I have tested an AIS sim and it works.

I have limited mobility and live in a rural area in Phang Nga that just has mom and pop phone shops.

I will have to travel down to Phuket.

I see on Google that there is supposed to be a True shop and an AIS shop located in the Airport International terminal.  That would be the closest location for me.

Does anyone know if the Terminal shops are currently open for business and would I just be able to enter the terminal to visit the shops as a walk in customer.

Also can anyone confirm if the Big Tesco on near the government hospital at Thalang has both and AIS and a True shop.

Thanks very much for your assistance.

Not sure about current conditions (covid).

Use to be that the shops at the airport was on the way out. You needed to be inside the "check in" area so to say.

So I would go with Big Tesco they use to have an AIS shop in the area where the banks are and where they sell a lot of phones and stuff. It's not that much longer

Are neither of these closer to you?

245 Telewiz Shop Maung , Pang-Nga Pang-Nga Southern

246 Telewiz Shop Takuapa Square , Pang-Nga

When you call AIS with the MNP code you can ask if Telewiz can do it for you if they are closer.
