TR at at Los Angeles Thai Embassy

Anyone who applied through Los Angeles been told they need 100k insurance to apply for 60 day TR?

It is not a requirement for a normal tourist visa application.

All visa applications in the US are done on the e visa site.

An amazing office

7 years ago when I tried to get an OA I  felt that LA office making own rules.  The farang back of the window even did not want to talk. Unfortunately it was he nearest consulate.

The rules are changing so often, if you get a lazy person at the Consular, who is not up to speed with these changes, you are F'ed.

It has been reduced to 50,000. You cannot get into Thailand without it.

Sorry, maybe you can get the visa but will not get the Thailand Pass without it
